Days Off……. Once you have it Up Lets keep it Up

Posted on March 18, 2009

Our weekly high intensity programs  are very  productive   at helping  us  build a great deal of functional strength,  cardiovascular/physical endurance and flexibility not to mention the fat burning advantages we experience.

It is also  a good idea to keep  up  your activity levels throughout the Off Days. These days    are just as important in your journey to overall fitness and healthy living. A key factor in   reaching desirable    body composition  ratios  and overall mental and spiritual feeling of  well being  is to engage as much of your bodies potential  capacity everyday.

When you are feeling limited from the build up of lactic acid and biproducts  in  your system from a previous session,  probably  the best way to recover  is  to find the time once or twice a week  between your workouts to get your heart rate to at least …. 60 to 75% of your optimum exercise rate . Go for a BRISK walk with a  friend or loved one ( at least 1/2 hour)  or a 2 to 5 km run at a low intensity… if  you have  access, swim for a 1/2 hour, or…. find any enjoyable activity  to raise not only your heart rate but your spirits. Anything that will get your system working to a level of alert reaction to building, moving, and cleansing your being is excellent in the process of  personal growth.

Incorporate ATLEAST  1 activity /per week aside from your regular regime of exercise and gauranteed you will reap the benefits 10 fold.

AT BMSfit  Fitness London our goal  is to help you find personal  health, happiness  and  peace with who you are.

Lets hear some of your ideas on how you take it to the next level.

Don’t forget a long lean muscle is a Healthy one.….. Stretch  ( a warmed up body) at least 3 to 5 times weekly and  you will grow to love the relaxation, centring and self awareness  it will bring.

Let’s here what you think!!      This is by all means an open forum sound people!

Till Next time the crew at BMSfit fitness London thanks you for letting  us help you.
