Core Strength and the Medicine ball

It is readily apparent that our core muscles are the foundation for stability and strength of our whole body. By maintain strong and flexible abdominal, lower back and hip muscle groups we are able to provide our spine with the stable base it requires to be able to compliment our overall bodies maintenance of muscular strength and overall stability.

Using the medicine ball is an excellent tool for exercising the muscle of the core in a multi plane range of movement. The use of a medicine ball to train the core is an excellent way to perform the movements that result in functional strength development.

Medicine balls are available ranging from 1 to 50 pounds, which afford individuals of all ages and fitness levels the opportunity to find a ball that fits their current capabilities and resistance needs, bear in mind that you should choose a weight that challenges you yet afford you the capability to perform all of the exercise available to you with a medicine ball.

Think Core strength and stability and you will be on the road to achieving overall body fitness and strength.

    Though I may be biased, dad, but the day after my first workout I thought it would be pretty easy. Boy, was I wrong. I worked hard, and was sore as can be, but I felt excellent, I felt like I achieved something!
